About My UPSC Syllabus

My UPSC Syllabus is a free, bilingual syllabus tracker for UPSC Civil Services aspirants. It turns the official syllabus into a checklist you can work through, so you always know what you have covered, what needs revision and what is still left.

Why it exists

The UPSC syllabus is long and spread across many papers, and most aspirants track it in notebooks or spreadsheets. Paid coaching apps lock basic planning tools behind subscriptions. My UPSC Syllabus gives every aspirant the same structured tracker for free, whether they study in a city coaching centre or on their own at home.

What you can do here

  • The complete official syllabus

Prelims (GS and CSAT), Mains GS Papers I to IV, the language papers and all optional subjects, broken into topics and subtopics that follow the wording of UPSC's own notification.

  • Progress and revision tracking

Mark theory as done, count revisions for each topic and see how much of each paper you have covered, separately for every attempt.

  • Previous year questions

Ten years of official UPSC question papers, mapped to the syllabus so you can see which topics are asked most often.

  • Daily study habits

A study timer, a daily newspaper log, notes for each subtopic, a study streak and a countdown to your exam date.

  • Hindi and English

The whole site works in both languages, so Hindi-medium aspirants can use it as easily as English-medium ones.

Where the content comes from

The syllabus and question papers come from UPSC's official notifications and published papers. Every source is listed, with links, on the Sources & Credits page. UPSC's own website is always the final word on the exam.

Free, and how it is paid for

Every feature is free, with no paywall and no premium plan. Running costs are covered by advertising served through Google AdSense. Signing in with Google only saves your progress; your study data is never sold. The Privacy Policy explains what is stored and how to delete it.

Not affiliated with UPSC

My UPSC Syllabus is an independent project. It is not run by, endorsed by or connected to the Union Public Service Commission or any coaching institute.
